In a tweet on Friday, Steve Ogolla said that the manager could be brought to justice if the institutions that gave Mwangi money on behalf of the singer share evidence.

Ogolla went on to say that he would be open to offering free legal services to the young singer to ensure that she gets justice.

"IT SHOULD be possible for Wendy Waeni to recover her money from Joe Mwangi. But first, Wendy's family should appeal to persons &institutions that made payments to her through Mr Mwangi to share such evidence. We can offer pro bono legal assistance &representation.#joemwangi," Steve Ogolla's tweet read.

Wendy Waeni made the damning claims against her former manager during an interview on Jeff Koinange Live on Wednesday.

“I’ve been performing all over the world, and right now I live in Huruma because of Joe Mwangi. I’ve performed in Rwanda, Germany, and China…and I’ve not got even a single penny. My mum is really suffering right now, she sells sweets. I live in Huruma in a single-room with her," she said.

The claims sparked widespread revulsion on social media platforms as Kenyans called for action to be taken against the manager.

Joe Mwangi vehemently rejected the allegations levelled against him, saying that the young gymnast could have been coached to make the devastating allegations against him.
