Speaking on Saturday, he predicted doom for those opposed to the President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga 2018 truce, warning politicians against fighting it.

And while a number of politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto have been questioning the handshake, he said they would be safer on the handshake side.

He cited Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu who has been thrown out of office over graft claims, insisting that his woes could be the consequences of his fight against the truce.

"Stick to the government. The ones fighting the handshake; stick to Uhuru and Raila as otherwise, you will be properly trampled on. (Kaa kwa laini ya serikali. Hawa wanapinga handshake kaa kwa laini ya Uhuru na Raila otherwise utakanyangwa proper)," he said on Saturday.

The lawmaker made the remarks on Radio Jambo's Mazungumzo Waziwazi show on Saturday.

Aladwa claimed that Waititu's woes can be traced back to his dalliance with Ruto, considering that despite representing Uhuru's home county, he has been on the DP's side.

"I said it, Waititu has now been dealt with in a proper manner (Nilisema mambo ya Waititu, sasa ameundwa proper)," he opined.
