Speaking on Monday at Parliament buildings, the governing Jubilee legislator confirmed that he would attend the meeting, which will be the third of its kind to be held.

He said that he was firmly behind the BBI report in its original and held the belief that it is that BBI that will be discussed this coming weekend at the coast.

"I hear they will be in Mombasa this weekend, I will be there because I believe if it is the same BBI that we are talking about that I am supporting I will be there," the Gatundu South MP said. (15:10-15:23)

Moses Kuria was conspicuously missing in the previous BBI meetings.

Anticipation is building for the Mombasa meeting even as political temperatures soar.

There have been concerns from a section of the political class that the report which was launched over a month ago at the historic Bomas of Kenya will be amended.

Critics of the so-called BBI meetings contend that they have nothing to do with the report and are political meetings organised with the 2020 presidential election in mind.
