Tens of passengers travelling from Nakuru to Nairobi have expressed their plight over what they termed as a shortage of Public Service Vehicles (PSVs).
The stranded passengers who addressed the media at the Nakuru main bus terminus say the vehicles from Nakuru to Nairobi are few making it difficult for them to travel.
Moses Kimani, one of the affected passengers attributes the shortage of PSVs to the busy back to school process.
"We have been here for over 5 hours with no vehicle," Kimani said.
The situation is same at the Nakuru's Prestige Shuttle booking office with many passengers still opting to use the digital system to track where vehicles coming back from Nairobi have reached.
According to one of the drivers of Prestige Shuttles, this has tried to help a few passengers who rely on the internet to track vehicles.
Similar sentiments were echoed by Stephen Muli who called on drivers not to be greedy but ensure they follow traffic rules so as to avert accidents during this festive season.
Transport crisis is expected to hit several parts of the country as schools re-open on Monday with those who had travelled upcountry for the festive season also travelling back to the urban centres.
