Kenyan hard hitting rapper Khaligraph Jones lost his chain worth Sh. 60, 000 during the lavish Guinness Smooth launch party in Kisumu over the weekend.

In a story covered by Nairobi News on Monday, Khaligraph Jones, who was among other artists who braced the party, lost his chain when he went down stage to mingle with fans during his electrification performance. 

However, he realized moments later that his chain is missing and rushed on stage. 

“They have gone with my chain. But its okay we give them everything. Kisumu I still love you beacuse even this show told promoters that I will be doing it for free.  (Wameenda mpaka na chain, but ni sawa sisi tunapeana kila kitu. Kisumu nawapenda bado juu hata hii show niliambia organizers nitapiga free. So mjue hivyo ndio nawapenda),” Khaligraph said after getting back to stage as quoted by Nairobi News

Khaligraph went ahead to entertain the crowd during his mid-night show. 

After the show, Khaligraph, who spoke to Nairobi News said that the chain costs Sh. 60,000. 

“The chain they stole costed Sh. 60k but these are small things since I came to perform. (Hiyo chain wameenda nayo ilikuwa ya 60K but hizo ni vitu ndogo mimi nilikuja kuua show),” he said.

The show had been organized by Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL). 

Other artists who braced the event include Sailors and Willy Paul with help of DJ Bash and DJ Joe Mfalme.
