Television host Tony Gachoka has called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to meet Chief Justice David Maraga.
This comes after Maraga on Monday held a press conference at Nairobi where he highlighted a number of issues affecting the Judiciary.
Reacting to Maraga's press conference, the Point Blank Show host argued the two leaders should meet.
''The President of the Supreme Court & head of the Judiciary is the Constitutional office holder of an important co-branch of government Uhuru my friend @StateHouseKenya must meet him to discuss the issues raised #DearCJMaraga is a grave matter beyond paid tweeps & casual discourse,'' said Gachoka.
Maraga pointed out that some Cabinet Ministers are working to frustrate the Judiciary.
He added that the money allocated to the Judiciary is less and it is likely to affect the functions of the Judiciary.
Maraga highlighted that his office is not being accorded the respect it deserves by the other arms of government.
In his statement, Maraga said that some ministers are pushing him to resign. However, he said that he will not resign until his term ends and he has a duty to perform for Kenyans.
