In a tweet on Monday, KURA asked Kenyans to make good use of the roads.

"We are grateful to Kenyans for being patient and cooperative during the installation of the Outer Ring Road Overpass at Allsops (Thika Road). The Exercise was successful and as we endeavor to provide efficient urban roads lets all ensure that we use the roads in the right way," read the tweet.

KURA had on various occasions closed a section of Thika Super Highway to facilitate the construction of the overpass.

Mostly, a section of Thika Road at Allsops was closed over the weekend. At times, one lane was closed and at other time two lanes were closed depending on the type of construction that was being done.

The constructed overpass will allow for smooth traffic at the two major roads around Allsops.

Thika Super Highway is rated the best among Kenyan roads.

Occasionally, there are various construction activities being done on this road.

At all the time, KURA has been informing Kenyans on advance to avoid getting confused when sections of the road are blocked.
