Gachoka urged them to demand for their payment before the eagerly awaited poll slated for next month on November 7.

Predicting Mariga will fail in his bid, the KTN's Point Blank show host claimed the former Harambee Stars international will never return to Kibra to offset debts owed to his agents.

In a tweet on Sunday, he said neither Deputy President William Ruto nor politicians allied his Tanga Tanga faction will bother to pay after Mariga is defeated.

"To residents of Kibra working for #Mariga17 make sure you are paid cash before Election Day. Do not take any promise after his defeat, you will never see him, DP Ruto or Jubilee Tanga Tanga again. These guys have zero interest in your lives don’t say you were not told," Gachoka said.

Mariga on Sunday held a rally that was attended by a multitude of his supporters at Lindi grounds and was also graced by top Jubilee leaders.

Those who attended included; DP Ruto, Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga her colleague Aaron Cheruiyot (Kericho) and MPs Didmus Barasa (Kimilili), Nixon Korir (Lang'ata) among others.

Ruto urged residents to vote for the former soccer star promising them he will transform their lives and bring development.

"Kibra will never remain a hotbed of violence, a slum, a place synonymous with poverty. We will never be lied to again," the DP said.
