Diamond Platnumz's record label, Wasafi Classic Baby (WCB), has opened up over concerns that singers Lava Lava and Queen Darleen are not releasing back-to-back songs like other artists.
Lava Lava and Queen Darleen have recently been the subject of discussions on social media, with some people saying they are thriving on other people's efforts.
WCB has 5 artists, three others, who are considered the backbone of the label are Diamond, Rayvanny and Mbosso.
The three have been dropping hit songs on a monthly basis.
One of WCB managers, Hamis Taletale aka Babu Tale has agreed Lava Lava and Queen Darleen have failed to shine like the rest of the artists.
He however said, WCB is like a family where they support each other when others are more successful.
"For normal families, there are successful kinds but others are not, so is WCB, there are artists whose stars have failed to shine (Kwenye familia za kawaida wapo watoto wenye mafanikio na ambao hawana, hivyo hivyo kwa familia ya WCB kuna baadhi ya wasanii nyota zao zimeshindwa kung’ara)," said Babu Tale as quoted by Bongo Five TV.
Tale noted that as WCB management, they have offered all artists an equal opportunity to grow their talents and shine.
"As leaders, what we are doing it creating a conducive working environment for them, everyone has his or her own manager, it is their responsibilities to see how they can emerge. (Hivyo sisi kama viongozi wa labo tunachokifanya ni kuwatengenezea mazingira mazuri ya kufanya kazi zao, kama kila mmoja kumuuacha na meneja wake linalobakia ni jukumu lao kuangalia namna gani wanajiongeza)," he noted.
Tale is hopping Queen Darleen, who is Diamond's step-sister, will soon drop a hit song and silence critics.
