The group has previously endorsed the initiative founded by President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Premier Raila Odinga, which has seen them accused of knowing its intentions.

Speaking on Wednesday, Muhanda said just like other Kenyans, Embrace group is in the dark on what the BBI team will propose in its yet-to-be-released report.

She said leaders in the team rallied behind the initiative basing on their belief and confidence that the two national leaders mean the best for Kenya.

"Honestly we don't have any clue but we gave our opinion (Kusema kweli hatuna fununu yoyote, lakini tulipeleka maoni yetu)," she said on Radio Citizen's Mjadala Wa Citizen.

She added that the group also fully supports the handshake judging by the pillars its based on, which include; fight against corruption, tribalism and election wrangles.

The parliamentarian dismissed claims of rivalry between Embrace and the rival Inua Mama group, which largely consists of anti-handshake forces.

"We don't have any rivalry with anyone. Our group was the first one to be formed and we approached all women. We also have members from all parties. (Sisi hatuna uhasama na mtu yeyote, sisi tulikuwa wa kwanza na tuliapproach wamama wote. Pia tuko na viongozi kutoka vyama vyote)," she added.
