Kisumu County Assembly Speaker Onyango Oloo on Tuesday suffered a major blow after his allies were sacked from their roles in the assembly.
Barely a week after he was ousted, the Ward Reps turned their focus to his allies in the assembly, and kicked them out of their roles.
Some of those who were sacked include; Chief Whip Hard Olima whose post was given to former Mayor Priscah Misachi.
Misachi who is the Ward Representative for Kaloleni/Shauri Moyo will he deputised by her nominated counterpart Jennifer Obonyo.
The assembly Majority Leader presented a proposal from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party proposing changes in three house committees, targeting MCAs thought to be allies of Oloo.
Kondele MCA Joachim Oketch tabled a motion to have Oloo, whose troubles started after his implication in the Sh4.1 billion Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA) Mall, ousted.
An attempt to impeach the Speaker last week ended up in a physical fight that saw the sergeant-at-arms flee, as the honorable members failed to agree on his fate.
His attempt to access the assembly on Thursday last week was also thwarted.
