A family in Lukhokwe village in Tongaren, Bungoma County is looking for the head of their kin after receiving what is believed to be his torso.
Sombre mood engulfed the village when the headless body of Geoffrey Wekesa arrived on Monday.
Family members of the late are requesting the Cabinet Secretary of Foreign affairs Monica Juma to intervene and help them get the head of their dead kinsman.
The deceased, 42, was involved in a fatal accident in Malawi while in a mission, which he was tasked by employer.
However, the head of Wekesa went missing but the torso was ferried to Kenya.
"We were shocked on Monday to receive my son's headless body," the father of Wekesa Yusuf Khaemba said as quoted by K24.
According to Susan Nasimiyu, Wekesa was working with Plastic Manufacturing Company whose headquarters are situated in Mombasa, and therefore was tasked with transporting products across countries in Africa.
The employer is said to have catered for all the costs in transporting the torso from Malawi. The body was taken to Kimilili Hospital morgue.
