In a tweet, Kipkorir said that Wairimu is a prime suspect in the murder case, adding that she risks losing everything if she continues to issue the prosecution with directives.

This is after it emerged that she wants to be granted cash bail to appear in a property case against the deceased

Wairimu claims she wants the estate she co-owned with the deceased shared on a 50/50 basis.

“If convicted of Murder or Manslaughter of your Spouse or relative, you lose all claims & rights to the estate of the Deceased ... And when the trial is on, you can’t dictate to the Estate ... Sarah needs to go slow on her media drama! .... Cohen & his Family deserve respect,” he said.

Wairimu had also objected the release of the body to the sister of the deceased for burial before she changed her tune.

Through her lawyer Philip Murgor, Wairimu said that she is the only one entitled to lay him to rest.

“The notion that the sister is entitled to the body is alien in the Kenyan Law….. Sarah is innocent under the Kenyan Constitution and nothing has happened so far to take away her right to her husband’s body,” Murgor said on Wednesday.

The two sides have agreed to bury the deceased on Monday in Nairobi in accordance with Jewish Traditions.
