It is one of the most crucial body organs involved in digestion and regulation of glucose in the blood.

Unhealthy pancreas will reduce your day to day productivity and it is important to take note of these signs;

1. Nausea and vomiting

The pancreas produces digestive enzymes that break down fat components on the diet you take. Once the pancreas is not healthy, the fat components will not be broken down and this will lead to nausea and vomiting.

An increase in size of the pancreas can block the far end of the stomach making it hard for food to pass through which can also result to vomiting.

2. Oily and greasy poop

The pancreas aids in breaking down fat components as well as absorbing soluble fat vitamins such as A, E and K.

Unhealthy pancreas reduces the manufacture of such enzymes making the poop appear oily and greasy due to the fat your body failed to breakdown.

3. Upper abdominal pain

Experiencing pain on the upper part of the abdomen can be as a result of inflammation of the pancreas. The pain can radiate even to your back making it unable for you to move, stand or feel uncomfortable when sitting down.

If the pain lasts for weeks, you should seek medical attention as it might result to pancreatic cancer.
