Northern wanderers remained rooted to the bottom of the National Super League (NSL) after failing to their fourth defeat out of four on Wednesday, a 4-3 thrashing away to Migori youth.
The home team was the better side and proved to be more dangerous, with the Wanderers wasting clear chances to snatch a point.
The result now means Wanderers’s are yet to keep a clean sheet this season and have the worst defensive record in the league.
But the Garissa based team is however optimistic they will still get a win after missing out on key players due to injuries.
“We are scoring goals but also conceding more at the back as a result of serious injuries to key defenders including the club captain and goalkeepers, Once they recover there will be massive improvement Insha Allah we will bounce back,” read the club statement.
The loss summed up the Wanderer’s poor start to the season as they were left still waiting for their first point as they host Talanta FC on Monday in a NSL fixture.
