Thirdway Alliance party Dr Ekuru Aukot asserts that the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report might be a fake.
In a tweet Saturday, he claimed that a close look at the report launched on Wednesday openly shows that some games are being played by the political class.
He said that the happenings at the event point at a possibility that what is contained in the document was not what was told to the BBI task force during their view collection sessions.
Aukot, who is also pushing for his own party's referendum bid dubbed Punguza Mizigo, also termed the function, which has been criticised by some political players, as shambolic.
"If you watched the shambolic launch ceremony at Bomas of Kenya, you must have noticed that the supposed authors of the report refused to present their own findings!" he wrote.
However, he did not reveal who he believes influenced the content of the document and for what reasons.
The function was marred with trouble and intolerance, with some politicians, including Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen being heckled by the attendees.
Allies of Deputy President William Ruto have claimed that the function was planned in such a way that it locked them out of the podium.
Though initially appearing opposed to any form of changes, the Ruto camp has since embraced the BBI suggestions, which include tough measures against state officers named in graft.
BBI also suggests the formation of an official opposition leader position and dictates that top state officials share public medical and education facilities with Kenyans.
