In a tweet on Thursday morning, the lawyer advised the former prime minister on how to draft a Constitution.

"Let me repeat a piece of advice I gave @RailaOdinga in 2009 but which he disregarded to his peril: Draft a Constitution as if you are doing it for your worst enemy. Restrain the Executive and everyone holding public office. Make everyone fully accountable and equal," he said.

The former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant was the opposition chief's political advisor from 2009 to 2010.

The two fell out when Miguna was deported in 2018 for participating in the mock swearing-in of Raila as the people's president.

Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta buried the hatchet during the famous March 9, 2018 handshake that saved the country from rising political temperatures.

The two top leaders agreed to work together for the sake of peace and unity in the country.

In support of the handshake, Raila is working with the Head of State to help him achieve his big four agenda.

The two came up with the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) task-force which seeks to get the views of Kenyans on the proposed referendum.

The referendum if successful will change some sections of the 2010 Constitution.
