Kenyan musician Kennedy Ombima popularly known as King Kaka seems to have set the pace for other artistes with his viral song dubbed 'Wajinga Nyinyi' (You are Fools).
King Kaka in the song addressed the problems that Kenyans have to go through under bad leadership and corruption.
At some point, he got in trouble when Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, who was mentioned in the song, threatened to file a lawsuit against him for defamation.
Another artist who is not new in the Kenyan entertainment industry followed on a similar path on Monday when he released a song dubbed 'Wajinga Sisi' which loosely translates to 'We are fools'.
In the song, Francis Amisi who is better known as Frasha, went ahead to mention Anne Waiguru in connection to the National Youth Scandal (NYS) in which she was accused of embezzling public funds.
"King kaka, its Frasha here. You cannot be in this fight alone. So I am here to stand with you. So before I am summoned let me release my summon. I hear Waiguru has sued you. Is this true? (King Kaka, ni Frasha hapa. Maze hii fight alone hauwexi toboa, so nimeamua ku stand na wewe. So kabla wani summon acha nitoe yang summon. Nasikia Waiguru ameku sue. Is this true)," Frasha raps at the beginning of the song.
Governor Ann Waiguru has not yet commented on the song.
As on Monday in the afternoon, the song had already gone viral and sparked a wide debate on Twitter under the #Wajingasisi.
Frasha has been active in the Kenyan Entertainment industry as an artist for almost a decade. He began as a member of a band known as P-Unit before going solo.
