Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has declared war against land grabbers in Nairobi.
Responding to a Whatsapp message by "NIS TOP" on Friday, Sonko vowed to use all resources available to reclaim grabbed land in Nairobi.
"On my part you can take this message to the bank: I shall be teaming up with various National Government agencies and even seek for the indulgence of the President to have all the above grabbed public land restored back to the public. as there are senior government officials who are also beneficiaries of this," he said in a post shared on Facebook.
The county boss listed 23 pieces of land allegedly grabbed in Nairobi.
Sonko has on various occasion said that he will fight corruption and impunity in the city will all his might.
He indicated that he wants to leave the city a good place than it was.
Sonko's war on corrupt individuals is similar to that of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Uhuru has also on various occasion declared that he will do everything in his powers to make sure corruption ends in the country.
