Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tanzanian radio station Clouds Media, the musician said that in spite of the differences, his respect for Diamond, Wasafi Records chief executive officer, still remains intact.

He, however, refused to shed light on the nature of the differences that triggered their fallout, citing 'fundamental reasons'.

"There were issues, I cannot lie, there were issues that I cannot give details about because of some fundamental reasons but what I can say is that those issues cannot make me stop respecting Diamond (Japokuwa kuna tatizo, siwezi kusema uongo, kuna tatizo ambalo siwezi kulizungumzia kwa sababu za kimsingi ambazo nimekupa lakini haiwezi kunifanya mimi nishindwe kumheshimu Diamond)," Harmonize said

The two fell out sometime this year, leading to Harmonize's dramatic exit from Wasafi that left fans reeling in shock.

Harmonize has long owed his meteoric rise to stardom as a musician to Diamond, who enlisted him in the Wasafi Records label.

Since enlisting Harmonize, Wasafi Records has handled the musician's music distribution and shows.

He was the latest artiste to bail out of the music juggernaut, fueling speculation of a rift in Wasafi.
