Nyali Member of Parliament Mohammed Ali has cautioned a section of leaders he opined are planning to frustrate other leaders during Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) rally set for Mombasa.
Speaking live from Mombasa on Citizen TV, Mohammed Ali said that they cannot plan for them.
In a direct address to Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed, Ali said that the lawmaker should keep Migori and keep away from Mombasa.
Ali has said that Junet who was the emcee at the BIBI launch in Bomas, has no right to say who will speak tomorrow in BBI rally and who will not.
Ali has revealed that tomorrow they will attend the meeting in Tononoka and they need no one's permission in doing so.
“Junet (Mohamed) keep your Migori we keep our Mombasa…Tunakukaribisha but you cannot plan for us who will talk and who will not…We will be there tomorrow in Tononoka…” Nyali MP Mohammed Ali said.
This happens following the attack on Aisha Jumwa where she was interrupted by angry youths while addressing the media.
"There is no way you can come to beat a female leader because she is not allowed to hold a press conference with the press," said Ali in reference to harassment of Aisha Jumwa.
Ali said that it is not okay, for leaders from the coastal region to be prevented from speaking out their minds on what they want to be discussed in BBI meeting tomorrow, Saturday.
He also said that no one is going to intimidate them the way some leaders have already been intimidated.
