Speaking in Homa Bay town on Friday, Shebesh asked the leaders to use the platform to discuss issues affecting the people and not hurling insults to other leaders.

“Mombasa we are coming…Murkomen tafadhali …kujeni (please come) Mombasa you’re welcome but come with manners…Uhuru na Raila sio watu wa kusomewa ( (Uhuru and Raila are not people to be lectured…especially kwa BBI…huyo ni mtoto wetu(that is our child…if you’re genuine about BBI, Tangatanga I want to tell you from today, stop abusing…that is our bare minimum…I do not see why I should abuse William Ruto…for what? First of all, yeye sio level yangu, he is the Deputy President,” she said.

She also said that she impressed by the fact that the allies of the second in command have started to recognize the benefits of backing the handshake between Raila Odinga and President Kenyatta.

The allies of Ruto changed their tune and opted to attend the rallies after lamenting for weeks that the forums were being used to insult their boss.

ODM Leaders led by Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho have also asked the leaders from Ruto's camp to behave themselves during the forums.
