The Sailors were scheduled to perform in Embu at Royal Mini Inn this coming Saturday. However, they cancelled the event without giving a reason.

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will not be performing at this event. Our Embu supporters, see you soon!" said Sailors.

This was hours after the Kenya Films Classification Board (KFCB) boss Ezekiel Mutua banned Wamlambez and Tanzania hit 'Tetema' by Diamond Platnumz and fellow bongo star Rayvanny from playing outside clubs and bars.

"Tetema and Wamlambez songs are strictly forbidden outside of clubs and bars. It's embarrassing to see even national leaders singing and dancing to the obscenity in public. The lyrics are dirty and not suitable for public consumption, especially children," he said
