Prominent lawyer Donald Kipkorir has warned members of the Kalenjin community serving in senior government positions against being disloyal to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kipkorir urged them to realize there is only one appointing authority, who they must serve with undivided loyalty, failure to which they will all end up in prisons or be sacked.
In a tweet on Friday, the vocal lawyer said most members of the 'Kalenjin Nation' serving in powerful positions in the Jubilee administration were his classmates, and also noted the majority of parastatal chiefs who have been arrested over graft in the recent past were from his community.
"My Message to Kalenjin Nation: Most of Kalenjin Ministers, PSes & CEOs are my classmates. Majority of CEOs arrested are Kalenjin. PSes reshuffle today demoted all Kalenjin PSes except Esther (Koimett- Transport PS). Unless you realize there is One President, you will all end up in Jail or Dismissed," Kipkorir posted.
His remarks came moments after President Kenyatta reorganised his government by reshuffling nine Principal Secretaries.
Among those who were transferred to new dockets include Julius Korir who was moved from the State Department for Infrastructure to the State Department for Public Service.
Prof Fred Harun Kiptoon Segor who was in charge of State Department for Irrigation was transferred to State Department for Wildlife Services.
Wildlife Services PS Susan Koech was dropped from the Cabinet for reasons yet to be made public.
