Popular Kenyan gospel singer Linet Masiro Munyali popularly known as Size 8 released a new song on Tuesday dubbed 'Power Power' featuring Wahu.
The song which was produced by Bern Mziki's Young Wallace gained more than 42,000 views and 500 comments within 13 hours of its premiere on YouTube.
The performance of the song propelled to rank at number 16 on the list of trending videos on YouTube.
The praise song talks about the mightiness of God and how he can change one's life.
"Your power is great that I cannot fully explain. Your memory is beyond human comprehension. Today you walk on water, tomorrow you split the waters (Nguvu nguvu zako, nyingi siwezi eleza. Nao kumbukumbu lako, akili ya binadamu haiwezi elewa. Leo unatembea juu ya maji, Kesho unatawanyisha maji)," Size 8 sings in the video.
The two musicians had been anxious about the collabo. For Wahu, this was the first collabo she was releasing since transiting from secular to gospel music.
For Size 8, it has always been her dream and prayer to collaborate with Wahu.
The song has so far received a positive response with some of the top names in the Kenyan entertainment industry such as comedian Eric Omondi endorsing it.
