Cohen's body was subjected to a pathological test at the Chiromo Mortuary on Wednesday, an exercise that was witnessed by his wife Sarah Wairimu who is the main suspect.

Consequently, the content of his will is set to be made open on Friday, as was confirmed by his lawyer Chege Kirundi.

“We shall be opening the will of the late Tob Cohen at 11.30 am tomorrow (Friday) in our chambers,” said the lawyer.

Initially, Wairimu who is suspected of having a hand in the gruesome murder had claimed that she owns half the property, and wanted to be released on bail to fight for it.

She had argued, through her lawyer Philip Murgor, that their house in Kitisuru risks being grabbed as there is nobody living there currently.

Officials said that the outcome of the postmortem will not be released to the public, days after presiding judge Jessie Lesiit ruled that detectives and Wairimu's defence team are not to comment on the progress of the case.

His body was retrieved from a septic tank within his compound on Friday last week, 43 days after going missing.

Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti had during the discovery of the body termed it gruesome, adding that the murderers took their time to kill the late Cohen.
