Efforts to recover the bodies of the Lake Nakuru crash victims are yet to bear fruits. The aircraft crash, which plunged into the lake on October 21, killed the five people on board.

The mother to one of the victims, Margaret Wairimu is yet to come to terms with the death of her son.
In an interview with Standard on Monday, she said that she still believes that the body of the victim can be traced from the lake.
“Was the search and rescue mission at fault? Is my son alive or is his body lying somewhere,” she poses.
The divers managed to rescue the bodies of three of the victims but Ndirangu and Gitau’s whereabouts still remain a mystery to the families.
Wairimu, who lives in Langa Langa estate, recalls the death of his son just as yesterday.
She narrated that he life had changed since she learned that the son is no more. Wairimu has also remained hopeful that the son will come back one day.
“My eyes have had tears from the day my son was reported to have been involved in the crash. But again, I hold faint hope that perhaps he will join me someday,” says Wairimu.
The aircraft crashed after it was hired to fly the Jubilee Party Members headed by Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika.
