Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu now says that a number of Kenyans are earning a living through his Facebook posts.
Wambugu who is the leader of Team 'Kieleweke' says that most of those who comment on his posts are on payroll. He noted that people are paid to camp on his page to criticise him.
"Anytime I post something I get hundreds of comments. However some of these comments are ‘paid’; some people actually earn money to camp on my page & disparage everything I write ... even if it’s just ‘Good Morning’," Wambugu claims.
He further acknowledged the move saying that he was delighted to see someone was earning a living from him.
Wambugu who is a fierce critic of Deputy President William Ruto has always found himself on the receiving end with Ruto's supporters accusing him of sabotaging his 2022 presidential ambitions.
The first time MP has led a group of legislators drawn from Mt Kenya under the 'Kieleweke' group in castigating their rival group, Team Tanga Tanga for engaging in early 2022 politics.
