Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has alleged that he swore in ODM leader Raila Odinga in 2018 in order to save Kenya from President Uhuru Kenyatta's leadership.
Miguna was responding to a comment by a tweep who questioned why he 'swore 'Raila in yet he criticises him.
"If you knew all that, why did you swear him in as President?" wondered @ jnrgowi.
In a rejoinder, Miguna noted that his sole intent when swearing in of Raila was to stop Uhuru from making Kenya look like "a mafia estate".
"I swore @RailaOdinga-in to stop Uhuru Kenyatta from making Kenya a Mafia private estate but @RailaOdinga is so used to being a slave that he turned against me and embraced the despot who stole his victory, maimed and murdered thousands of his supporters," read Miguna's response.
Further, in his defence, Miguna argued he took issue with Raila for becoming naive by being bound into the confines of the handshake.
He accused Raila of accepting to work with people he (Miguna) claimed to have stolen NASA coalition's victory and killed its supporters who were picketing after 2017 general elections.
Following the mock swearing-in of Raila, Miguna was deported to Canada.
