In a tweet, CS Matiang'i noted that the newly appointed CASs will go through the induction workshop for two days.

At the start of the workshop, Dr Matiang'i delivered President Uhuru Kenyatta's message urging the CASs to work towards ensuring the government services are delivered efficiently to Kenyans.

In the message, the Head of State cautioned the newly appointed officers against politicking.

"Opened a 2-day induction workshop for all Chief Administrative Secretaries where I delivered H.E. The Presidents’ message on the need to focus on a one government approach for efficient delivery of government services to the public devoid of politicking, " the Interior CS wrote on Wednesday.

In the induction program, the CASs will be taken through what is expected of them as they dispense their official duties.

The were appointed a week ago, in a surprise reorganisation of government by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
