Soy Member of Parliament Caleb Kositany now says the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI)was a tool by opposition leader Raila was to finish deputy president William Ruto.
He says this was witnessed during an exclusive interview with the Citizen Television where he called on deputy president William to step aside and be investigated over corruption.
During the interview the opposition leader claimed that Ruto had been hosting crowds in his home, slaughtering chicken and dishing out millions of shillings from unexplained wealth.
"As leaders from the deputy president backyard we had our own reservations about the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) but we now know it was a scheme by Raila Odinga to finish the deputy president politically," said the Soy Jubilee party first-term MP.
Speaking to the press in Eldoret town on Saturday Kositany said Odinga will not succeed in his evil plans.
"Despite the hurdles the opposition leader has put against the deputy president he won't succeed and come 2022 William Ruto will be president whether he likes it or not, " added the deputy president allied MP.
The Soy member of parliament further said if the opposition leader is man enough should contest the presidency with the deputy president William Ruto come 2022 instead of always attacking him.
He says Raila Odinga will be defeated in broad daylight and that will be the end of his politics.
His sentiments come moments after Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen, another ally of the DP, claimed that from Raila's interview, it was clear that the handshake and BBI were clearly aimed at finishing DP Ruto.
