Skin rashes are irritating and can even lower one's self-esteem.
Dry skin, infections, autoimmune conditions and contact dermatitis are among the conditions that cause skin rashes.
However, you can beat the condition at home by employing some of the proven and effective remedies.
Here are remedies that could help you purge the condition as highlighted by Debra Rose Wilson, PhD, MSN, RN, IBCLC, a critical care medicine specialist.
1. Baking soda
The chemical found in baking soda has antibacterial properties that may quell the dead cells that cause skin rashes. It also maintains the pH skin balance which is important.
In a tub of lukewarm water, add at least two cups of baking soda and soak. Use the infusion as moisturizer and dab it. You can as well resort to make a paste with baking soda and a little water then dab on the affected area.
2. Coconut oil
It is highly packed with antiseptic, anti-inflammatory properties and saturated fats. People who have been experiencing skin-related problems should always apply this particular oil. Coconut oil can be used as a moisturizer on the skin and scalp. You can apply it all over the body. It is more effective when applied after showering.
3. Aloe vera
Aloe Vera has been used to cure and combat various complications including skin rashes. The fact that the herb has antibacterial and antiseptic properties, it can heal wounds, eczema, dermatitis and rashes caused by skin dryness.
