Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said that he is fully behind the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
Speaking at the University of Nairobi during the 13th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Kalonzo said that the BBI will help in transforming Kenya if its report is adopted.
He noted that the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga was the best thing that has ever happened to Kenya.
He divulged that the union between the two leaders has created an ideal environment for businesses to thrive, adding that he will always support them in the quest to make Kenya a better place.
"I personally support the initiative wholeheartedly because that is what enables Manu Chandaria to employ a few more Kenyans and many more other Manu Chandarias. Without it, we would be even worse off."
“Have I not heard Kenya shown at the latest edition of the United Nations General Assembly talk about the Savanah Silicon Valley? We can bring the world distant but only if we are willing to live with each other as brothers and sisters but if we kill each other every five years, call each other tribal and become a tribalized nation," he said.
The report, which is yet to be released, has already sparked debate among different leaders from both quarters.
