On Tuesday, ODM Director of Communications Philip Etale, termed Imran as the best bet the residents of Kibra can pick.

He described him as man who understands the problems faced by Kibra residents, and who will change the situation for the better once elevated to Parliament.

According to Etale, Kibra residents should side with Imran because he has what it takes to elevate them economically, and knows the exact needs of the people on the ground.

"Imran understands the needs of the people of Kibra. He knows pretty well that an economically empowered person can move mountains. He knows the needs of mama mboga, what small scale traders want. He will lift them up. He is definitely the right person for Kibra," he tweeted, Tuesday.

Imran has over the last few days been crisscrossing the constituency in door-to-door campaigns, as he seeks to ascend to the seat left by his brother the late Ken Okoth.

But he will have to battle it out with among others, Jubilee's McDonald Mariga, ANC's Eliud Owalo, and Ford Kenya's Khamisi Butichi in the November 7 mini poll.
