Popular Ugandan socialite cum business lady Zari Hassan on Wednesday took to Instagram to campaign for Kenyan musician Akothee to be voted as the Best Female Artist in East Africa in AFRIMMA awards.
Zari who reffered to Akothee as her crush described Akothee as an inspiration to single mothers. The two celebrities are both mothers of five children each.
Zari got her children from two different marriages, same to Akothee.

Akothee in response appreciated Zari's gesture of support and went ahead to cite that this was a year of change.
"love you all the way moma, let the party begin it's our year, year of change, year of prosperity, you grow by lifting others, girls of substance," Akothee commented on the Instagram post.
Zari and Akothee have grown to be close in the past few days which saw Zari travel to visit Akothee. The two have also partnered on an upcoming event that will inspire single mothers.
