The workers have insisted that they do not have confidence in his administration because he is not a performer. The staff have opposed his plans to extend his term in office by one year.

KAWU Secretary-General Moss Ndiema said that the workers no longer want him in office because he has proven beyond doubt that he cannot change the fortunes of the airline after it faced a series of crisis under his leadership.

“Employees have no faith in Mikosz….he is the source of anxiety and negative energy in the airline with employees not knowing what to expect,” said Ndiema.

Ndiema believes that the CEO’s time is up and extension of his term in office is likely to spell doom for the airline. He also said that the airline's management could be forced to take a hard stance on the matter if the CEO remains in office.

The workers union want the government to advertise his post so that they can replace him.

The employees have lamented over a wide range of issues since he took over the office and now they want him out for good.
