Controversial city lawyer Donald Kipkorir has warned Members of Parliament alleged receiving payments to attack the President Uhuru Kenyatta.
In a tweet on Monday, the flashy city lawyer mentioned various areas these MPs believed to be receiving payments to abuse the head of state come from.
"When I see the MPs from Kiambu, Murang’a, Laikipia, Nakuru, Nyandarua, Uasin Gishu, Bungoma, Kilifi & Kwale & single ones from Elgeyo Marakwet, Kirinyaga & Nairobi & failed one from Kakamega disrespecting the President bec Of being paid Abuse per diem," he said.
Mr Kipkorir came out to warn the MPs, predicting a bad ending for their political career if they dont stop their behavior.
"I sympathize with them .... Study of History shows that those who disrespected the King, even when the King was so unpopular, didn’t have the most exciting final chapters of their political lives ... They should learn from Marcus Brutus & his Co- Conspirators!" he added.
However, the lawyer didn't mention any names.
President Uhuru Kenyatta who is on his second and last time in office will be looking to leave a good legacy.
In doing so, he vowed to deal with corruption in the country with all his might. More so, he warned leaders that going against the law will be punishable.
He came out in various occasions to warn some leaders who had started going round the country campaigning.
