This comes shortly after the 'Deejay' singer claimed Otile Brown was the one who terminated her contract shortly after signing her as the first artiste at the newly established record label.

Jovial opened up about her relationship with Nabayet during a recent interview on Milele FM, noting that she is in good terms with her.

“I’ve always been in good terms with her (Nabayet).  And then I am someone who speaks a lot (Alafu mimi ni mtu wa kuongea). I’m very social and very jovial and since day one during the shoot for ‘Amor’ we talked like old friends. I’m a very easy person,” said Jovial as quoted by SDE.

The vocalist insisted that she earned the contract because of her work and not any other thing as it was being alleged.

“I want people to understand that I was signed because of work. It is not about romance (si mambo ya mapenzi). There were speculations that we were dating (kulikua na speculations mob ati sijui tunadate). I don’t like mixing business and pleasure because what got me the contract is work (ni kazi). People have opinions and we cannot stop them but we are the ones who know the truth (sisi ndio tunajua ukweli),” she added.

Otile Brown has, on the other hand, remained silent over Jovial's departure from his record label.
