Speaking at NTV on Tuesday, he said that no one can should accuse leaders of taking over the BBI process because they want it to work.

"Politicians are participating in the BBI, they are not taking over. You can never accuse politicians of taking over unless you don't want the process to succeed," Amollo said.

In the same interview, Tongaren MP Dr Eseli Simiyu accused politicians of not looking after the good of the people.

According to him, politicians are just polarizing the country.

"Politicians are not looking at the good of the people, we are polarising the country," Dr Simiyu said

This comes a few days after allies of Deputy President William Ruto agreed to participate in BBI rallies, where some of them even attended the Mombasa rally.

However, on Monday, the Tanga Tanga leaders met in Naivasha, and agreed to take over the BBI rallies.

They said that ODM party has not run the BBI rallies as should be thus, they will take control and make sure that Kenyans' input is considered in the rallies.
