Most people believe it is women who should take longer time while in the bathroom, however, men also can overstay in the bathroom than usual.
In normal circumstances, one should not stay in the washroom for more than 10 minutes, regardless of the nature of the call.

Men overstay in the bathroom for a number of reasons, which include the following;

Studies show that men prefer admiring themselves in the mirror when they are alone. They can also take their good time on themselves to improve their looks, which start from shaving their beard'
He might be doing nothing but just enjoying peace of mind away from many disturbances.
