A lifeless body of a boy identified as Brian Abuga has been found dumped in a bush at Charachani area, Bogichora ward in Nyamira county.
The body was found on Wednesday.
The boy went on missing about three days ago.
Confirming the incident, Nyamira County Commissioner Amos Omariba said the boy might have been killed and his body dumped in the bush.
The boy's hand had been chopped off and the private parts were missing.
"We have incurred a very bad incident whereby a body of a young boy has been retrieved from a bush with alot of injuries which indicate that he was killed with a sharp tool. Also his hand was chopped off and his private parts removed. It is a very devastating incident so far," said Omariba.
The mother of the boy, Ann Nyabiage, claims that his only son was killed cold bloodedly by a neighbour who claimed that he found him near his goat and thought the boy had engaged in unnatural act with the goat.
"My only son had never had issues with anybody in this village, am mourning my beloved son for being killed cold bloodedly by just a neighbour. I only look forward for the government to act upon because the ones responsible for the killing are known," said the mother.
The county commissioner assured that the ones responsible for the killing will be arrested and they will face the full face of the law.
