It is a big blow for Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi after his official allocated cars were allegedly on Friday morning seized by police officers.
According to Maangi, 12 armed police officers stormed his residence at 4 am and took away the vehicles.
“Around 4 am this morning police officer armed arrived at my residence within Kisii town to tow away my official vehicles. Fortunately, my staff gave the officers the keys which they used to drive the vehicles away," Maangi stated.
The ODM Party allied Deputy Governor pointed out that he is been trailed several times when he is away from Kisii County.
He (Maangi) since the beginning of the year vowed to name officers in Kisii County who he claimed have embezzled public funds meant for development.

"My 2022 gubernatorial competitors want to harm me so that the blame can be on Governor James Ongwae," noted Maangi.
Consequently, Maangi has now expressed fears that his life is in danger.
