The Canadian based lawyer has remained in exile for over a year now despite numerous court orders ordering for his return to the country.

A Twitter user, Ben Kirimi had pleaded with Mr Sifuna to move to court and help in securing Dr Miguna Miguna's return, precipitating to Sifuna's response.

"Though I can't support this excuse of a human being. I think it's a high time for you as a lawyer, ODM executive and a decent human being to try and bring Miguna home. What this country did to him is just wrong. Whichever way you want to look at it," he tweeted.

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi had on Wednesday promised to ensure that Tanga Tanga movement fights for return of Miguna Miguna, eliciting sharp debate on social media.

"I did my best. We got him court orders guaranteeing his freedom to come home anytime he wants, but if Sudi, you or any other "decent human being" want to give it a go, please feel free. Hii kazi ni yetu sote," said Sifuna.

Miguna Miguna had his attempts to get back to Kenya blocked last year in April, with security forces blocking him at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport hours to his second deportation.

The outspoken lawyer has since fallen out with ODM leader Raila Odinga, who he accuses of outright betrayal in the quest to enforce law and order.
