Couple fights are normal and healthy but to a certain level. If fights become rampant, the relationship will suffer.
Here are ways to stop fights with your wife.
1. Relax
The anger during a fight can cost you your marriage if you can't control yourself. When you are tempted to lash out your wife, the best thing you can do is respond by calming down. As a man, it would be good if you relax during a fight because she obviously can't.
2. Empathize
Put yourself in your wife's shoes and assume you were her. Sometimes we defend ourselves even when we are wrong. If you came home late, assume it is her who came home late and imagine how you'd react.
3. Balance
The fight will lose meaning to you if you take time and balance things. Look back and remind yourself of the similar things you have done in the past. Ask yourself why you are angry and upset. This will help you not ignore your own fault.
4. Forgive
If she is the wrong one, cut the fight short and forgive her. Remember you will fall victim someday and you'll need her forgiveness.
5. Apologise
If you are the wrong one, don't let her force you to apologise. Express your love by humbly apologising to her. It won't mean you are weak, it will only mean how much you value your relationship.
