While Leopards chairman Dan Shikanda said his resignation won't affect the club.

After a 15 days ultimatum notice to the club, to settle his dues and give a way forward regarding his future at the den, the Rwandese tactician, Andre Casa Mbungo has ditched AFC Leopards following a strained relationship owing to financial stress and bleak future according to Goal.com.

Reports indicate that the tactician who had stayed with the team for the last year, opted for the decision after the Leopards management failed to respond to his demands.

"I'm no longer AFC Leopards coach, having tendered my resignation letter, "- said Mungo 

The coach lamented over Leopards officials' laxity to address his concerns and noted that he was pleased to have had a chance to coach one of Kenya's prestigious club.

"It has been a great experience, though saddening at the same time, due to the issues facing the team. I wish them the best," - Mbungo said. 

The Rwandese noted that despite many clubs wanting his services, he is headed home to take a rest before deciding on his next step.

Meanwhile, Leopards Chairman noted that Mbungo resignation was no news having notified them earlier. Instead, he said assistant coach Anthony Kimani, will take charge of Ingwe ahead of their clash against Zoo Kericho FC, as they wait to make a formal announcement on the technical bench overhaul.

"We could not stop him, having notified us 10 days earlier. This is no news for us," - said Dan Shikanda
