Speaking at Kisii Sports Club on Thursday night, Ongwae said all leaders irrespective of their political parties are invited to attend.

"I want to clarify that the BBI consultative meeting is not an ODM Party affair as being claimed by critics. Does it mean when a such meeting will happen in Central Kenya it will be a Jubilee Party meeting? Elected Members of Parliament and County Assembly members from all parties in the entire Nyanza region are invited to attend the meeting," said Ongwae.

The county boss appealed to Kisii residents to turn up in large numbers at Gusii Stadium for the meeting.

The ODM allied governor insisted that more than 20 governors and several MPs, MCAs and senators will attend the meeting.

"Governors from counties like Nyamira, Migori, Homa Bay, Kisumu and Siaya will bring their delegates to the meeting. The former prime minister Raila Odinga will be present at the meeting," he added.

He assured that security will be tight before, during and after the meeting given that a lot of visitors will be around.
