[Photo/The Star]President Uhuru Kenyatta is keen to defend his seat for another five year term and plans to ensure that dream is achieved can be viewed from the pool of alleged online mercenaries that the Jubilee party has invested in to fight their online battles whenever NASA bloggers attack Uhuru's track record.
Reports indicate some of these 'government blogger' have secured themselves plum jobs in government.
Here are names and social following of at least six of the bloggers.
Jubilee bloggers from left Dennis Itumbi, Pauline Njoroge and Robert Alai.1 Dennis Itumbi- He is the current director of digital communication at the State House, he enjoys a following of over 440,000 on twitter and 136,000 on Facebook.
2 Pauline Njoroge - She was the one who first posted photos of Nation Media Group reporter Walter Menya. Njoroge commands a following of 17,000 twitter followers and 62,000 on Facebook.
3 Robert Alai - He was once seen as NASA's presidential candidate Raila Odinga online defender but reports alleged Alai is now blogging for Jubilee, he commands a following of more than 720,000 on twitter at at least 270,000 on Facebook.
4 Polycarp Hinga - He calls himself the information activist on twitter over 19,000 follow him and his Facebook page records over 17,000.
5 Jane Kogi - She is the self proclaimed 37st blogger, has 13,000 Facebook followers and 7,000 on twitter.
6 Gordon Opiyo - He is more vibrant on Facebook with over 20,000 followers.
