Musician Akothee on Saturday made a grand entrance at the Luo Festival proving that indeed she is one of the most expensive Kenyan musicians.
Akothee's presence at the concert was highlighted by a Limousine car and a chopper.
The musician who was staying at the prestigious Weston hotel while waiting for the concert was picked up in a limousine to the Wilson Airport where she took a private chopper all the way to Carnivore.
"Being AKOTHEE IS A calling #luofestival airport in afew from @weston_hotel to Wilson then board the chopper to carnivore 3minutes," Akothee wrote on her Instagram page.
She was then received at the Carnivore hotel by Jalang'o who earlier on had listed down Akothee's conditions that had to be fulfilled before she could agree for a performance.
One would have thought Jalang'o was joking when he revealed that Akothee demanded a helicopter and a security team of 10 people among other things before she could perform.
The 'Muje' singer who claimed she charges Sh1 million for performances seems to be enjoying her status.
"Don't tell Kenyans you are rich! They will be mad at you, tell them You overcame your financial struggles they understand better #lanes my friend Its only at the bottom that is crowded! Enough space up here for all of us," read her Instagram post.
