We fall in love, have good times but what we find hard to accept is that the people we love so much can hurt as the most. For this reason, no matter how much you love someone, you should be ready to get hurt because it happens.

Here are 3 ways to let go of someone you loved big but hurt you;

1. Cut contact with them

Before you do anything else, cut contact with that person. Let there be no communication between you and him or her. This is a critically important prerequisite.

You need to understand that you can hardly heal if you keep the person who hurt you close to you such that you reach out to them to beg or to ask for favors. It will worsen your state, so keep off from them and don't let them access you as well.

2. Spend time with friends or new people

At this time, the least thing you'll need is solitude or rather a solitary life. You need people around you, like friends who are always there for you and family.

Love is crazy and can make you think or do crazy things especially when you spend time alone after this incident. Go out there, meet new people and with time you'll get over it.

3. Forgive them and yourself too

Forgiving them here doesn't mean you encourage them to get back to you, it means you accept that they did what their hearts desired and now they feel better and you forgive yourself by not agreeing that what they did was right but accepting that it happens.

Getting hurt doesn't mean the end of the world for you. Pick back your joy and move on.
