The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) on Sunday fired Harambee Stars coach Sébastien Migné after poor performance in the CHAN qualifiers.
In a communication sent to media houses by acting FKF Chief Executive Officer Barry Otieno, the football governing body said it had reached a mutual agreement with the French tactician to end his contract.
"Football Kenya Federation and Harambee Stars coach Sebastien Migne have agreed to terminate the coach’s contract on mutual consent.
"As a result, FKF and Migne have agreed on a settlement for the coach, over a period of time," Otieno's statement read in part.
According to Otieno, the federation will soon announce the new technical bench and coach once the due process of selection is completed.
FKF wished Migne good luck in his coaching career.
"We wish the coach all the best in his future endeavors, this even as we turn our focus on the upcoming 2021 AFCON qualifiers, with a view to try and qualify for the final tournament again,' the statement read in part.
